| Our air fresheners are made up of hundreds of small gels that hold in the fragrance. Each air freshener comes with a vented lid to prolong the life of the air freshener without taking away from the aroma. A Linen/room spray is available as well. | Friendly Fumes began in 1992 (named by Cousin Geo) From Bob's passion for fragrance and perfumes, hence the name... and Friendly Fumes was born. Many thanks to Lehigh University SBDC (small business development center), Ursinus College, S.C.O.R.E (service core of retired executives)and NTIS (national technical information service) for all the information and advice on blending fragrances and marketing. Bob has an extensive background in fragrant oils (1992) and is a 4th generation soap maker, serving proudly in the U.S. Army 1st Infantry Division, 3rd battalion, 28th Infantry Black Lions...MOS 11B. Most of all Bob thanks the Lord for cleaning up his life through soap making. Sue began by mixing shea butters and lotions to try to find the perfect combination of scents and textures that felt and smelled good. Many commercial scents were too strong and irritated Sue's allergies, causing watery eyes and itchy skin! Also, Sue loves candles, but again, the store-bought kind weren't satisfactory. Sue excels in our customer relations. It's a story of boy meets girl, their love for each other and the products they make together ... a perfect combination! We are nestled quietly in the rural area of Green Lane (Montgomery County) Pennsylvania. It is here, amongst the solitude of nature, that we hand craft our products to perfection. See photo at the bottom of this page. We have over 200 available candle scents along with 80 handmade soaps and are always adding more products. | Friendly Fumes is dedicated in providing the finest quality handcrafted products at a competitive price. Each ingredient is individually selected to ensure a supreme quality product. The finest fragrance oils and essential oils are used to obtain our unique scent. All of our handmade soaps and highly scented candles are individually crafted and have a distinctive appearance. Friendly Fumes handmade soaps are made in 15 or 30 bar batches from a variety of saponified oils, for example: olive, palm, palm kernel, coconut, castor and soybean oils are some of our key ingredients. In addition, our traditional soap making process (cold process method) allows the soap to retain its natural glycerin. Our handmade soaps also contain shea butter that produces soothing lather that penetrates and moisturizes the skin. Ground lavender buds, oatmeal, apricot seeds or peppermint leaves are added to some soap, which exfoliate and cleanse the skin leaving it smooth.
