All fragrance oil testing is performed using our base of olive, coconut, palm, shea butter, castor and soy oils. We use one ounce of fragrance oil using reduced water at 115° F with no color. If the fragrance oil seizes we reformulate via our perfumer to obtain the finest fragrance oil available. We test to obtain longevity and quality of suds.

A added note to those who love super strong soap bars. Increasing the scent load to a max of 1.5 ounces to one pound of oils has been used for special orders for those who wanted super strong soap bars. Anything over 1.5 ounces of fragrance oil can lead to pockets of fragrance. It is not advisable however boosting to 1.25 ounces is more doable.
